NYSSMA is the New York State School Music Association. NYSSMA sponsors solo and ensemble festivals for students throughout New York State. If you want to play a solo, you must choose from a suggested list, prepare scales and be able to sight read a short passage of music. Consult your music teacher for the appropriate level and solo for you!
NYSSMA participation can entitle you to our local and state wide all-county performance groups.
